Gulliver's Creamed Corn

Ingredients:

  • 2 (20 oz) packages frozen corn kernels
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tsp sugar
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except last two in a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Blend butter with flour.
  4. Add to the corn.
  5. Mix well and remove from heat.
  6. Variation:.
  7. Put finished corn in heat proof casserole, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and place under a broiler until evenly brown.
