Grandpa's Apple Crisp (Crumble)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup quick oats
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Put apples in buttered 9x10 baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with water.
  3. Make topping: rub together sugar, oats, cinnamon, butter, and flour.
  4. Put topping on apples.
  5. Bake 40 minutes in 350 oven.
  6. Best served with pouring cream.
