Grandma Jones Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients except for 2 Tbsp. of Sugar and 1 Tbsp. of Cinnamon.
  2. Cover and chill for one hour.
  3. Shape into 1 balls and roll in the sugar and cinnamon combination.
  4. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
