Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1 pint apricot jam (or jam of your choice)

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in a medium bowl.
  2. Cut in butter to dry ingredients until texture of crumbly pie crust.
  3. Pat 2/3 mixturee into grease 8x13 pan.
  4. Spread jam evenly over mixture.
  5. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/3 crust mixture.
  6. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until just crispy brown on top.
  7. Cool and cut into bars.
