Fruit or Coleslaw Boiled Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup cream

Directions:

  1. Heat vinegar in a double boiler; add salt and pepper.
  2. Beat egg yolks in a bowl; pour the warm vinegar over the egg yolks while stirring.
  3. Return to double boiler; cook and stir until creamy.
  4. Remove from heat and add the cream; stir well.
  5. Refrigerate until serving.
  6. Can be used with raw fruit or coleslaw.
