Directions:

  1. Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, and soda.
  2. Mix apples and pecans and add to dry ingredients.
  3. Mix in oil and well beaten eggs.
  4. Thoroughly mix, then add vanilla.
  5. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350°.
