Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Directions:

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender or 2 knives
  3. Blend together 1/4 cup of this mixture with cold water.
  4. Add to remaining flour mixture.
  5. Mix with a fork lightly until dough holds together.
  6. Shape into a pie pan.
