Dutch Funnel Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs, add milk and beat again.
  2. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl.
  3. Add egg mixture and beat until smooth.
  4. Heat oil to 400 degrees.
  5. Pour 1/2 cup of batter into a funnel.
  6. Let batter drizzle into hot oil starting at the center and expanding in a circular motion, criss-crossing with the last bit of batter.
  7. Brown on both sides.
  8. Drain on paper towels.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
