Curried Turkey Strips

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Slice turkey breast into strips.
  2. In a medium bowl combine all dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl beat egg.
  4. Using one hand for the wet and the other for the dry, dredge the turkey in the egg followed by the flour mixture.
  5. Repeat until all strips are coated.
  6. Drizzle about a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
  7. Place turkey strips in skillet, cook for 3-4 minutes.
  8. Flip strips, cook an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through, taking care to not overcook or the turkey will become incredibly dry.
