Ingredients:

  • shell
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • topping mixture
  • 1 3- oz package instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 bottle chocolate syrup

Directions:

  1. Shell:
  2. In a saucepan, bring to a boil water and butter.
  3. Blend in flour.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, by hand or with a mixer.
  5. Grease and lightly flour a 9x13-inch pan.
  6. Pour mixture in pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
  8. Poke holes in the cake with the end of a wooden spoon.
  9. Let cool.
  10. Topping:
  11. Cream together the cream cheese with 1/2 cup milk.
  12. Add the pudding and 1 1/2 cups milk.
  13. Beat with a mixer or by hand.
  14. Pour mixture on top of the shell.
  15. Top with Cool Whip and swirl on chocolate syrup.
  16. Refrigerate 1 hour to set before serving.
