  1. Preheat oven.
  2. 350 degrees Grease and flour a ten-inch tube pan Sift together dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. Cream together, butter, cream cheese, and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs to creamed mixture one at a time.
  5. Mix well after adding each egg.
  6. Add vanilla and mix to blend.
  7. Add the flour mixture and beat just until dry ingredients are blended.
  8. Don't over mix.
  9. Pour batter into prepared pan evenly.
  10. Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool 1/2 hour in pan and then turn out.
