Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of softened salted butter
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese with mixer, slowly, but well. Gradually add the sugar. Add in the eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each one.
  2. Combine flour and salt gradually, add that to the butter mixture. Beat slowly, beat very well.
  3. Beat in vanilla, slowly, but well.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour 40 minutes.
  6. Cool on a rack in the pan for 15- 20 minutes or until the pan is no longer hot.
  7. Cool out of pan for 15 minutes before cutting.
