A moist and delicious pound cake great as a gift to someone you love or just a dessert for a get together or family dinner. Goes great with strawberries and whipped cream! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of softened salted butter |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
3 cups sugar |
6 large eggs |
3 cups all-purpose flour |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Beat butter and cream cheese with mixer, slowly, but well. Gradually add the sugar. Add in the eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each one. 2. Combine flour and salt gradually, add that to the butter mixture. Beat slowly, beat very well. 3. Beat in vanilla, slowly, but well. 4. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan. 5. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour 40 minutes. 6. Cool on a rack in the pan for 15- 20 minutes or until the pan is no longer hot. 7. Cool out of pan for 15 minutes before cutting. |
