Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup bisquick
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease square 8 inch dish.
  3. Beat brown sugar and margarine till fluffy.
  4. Stir in Bisquick and walnuts until mixture is crumbly.
  5. RESERVE 1°C.
  6. Press mixture into pan and bake for 12 minutes.
  7. Mix cream cheese and sugar.
  8. Beat in remaining ingredients until smooth.
  9. Spread mixture over baked layer in pan.
  10. Sprinkle with reserved crumbly mix.
  11. Bake 25 minutes more until center is firm about 25 minutes.
  12. Cut into 2 in squares.
  13. Store in refrigerator.
