Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook pasta according to directions until just tender
  2. Combine cream, 5 ounces gorgonzola in medium saucepan
  3. Stir constantly over LOW heat until cheese is almost melted, about 5 minutes
  4. Drain pasta when done
  5. Return pasta to pot, add cheese sauce
  6. Stir over medium heat until sauce thickens slightly about 2 minutes
  7. Add pepper to taste
  8. Pour mixture into a shallow baking dish
  9. Combine breadcrumbs and nuts and sprinkle topping over the pasta
  10. Dot with remaining 1 ounce gorgonzola
  11. Can brown under broiler until crunchy and brown
  12. NOTE: I make *buttered* breadcrumbs from hearty, course bread, then mix with toasted walnuts and do not brown under broiler, your choice
