Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp shortening
  • cooking spray

Directions:

  1. Combine Flour, corn meal and salt.
  2. Cut in the shortening
  3. Add boiling water and mix well.
  4. Shape into 12 equal balls,.
  5. Press between two sheets of waxed paper into 6 circles.
  6. Fry on hot, lightly greased griddle. (I just use Pam).
