Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 drop of any food coloring
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Directions:

  1. Blend the 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter.
  2. Add 1 egg mix well.
  3. Blend 1 cup flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  4. When well blended press into a cookie sheet. Bake at 350' for 25 30 minutes.
  5. Blend together 1 cup coconut, 1 cup icing sugar, 3 Tablespoons melted butter and the food colouring.
  6. When well blended add just enough hot water to make it spreadable.
  7. Ice while still warm.
