Chocolate Mint  Brownie Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 3 drops green food coloring
  • 1/2 tsp mint extract
  • 6 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. For Cake Layer:.
  2. Heat oven to 325.
  3. Grease 9x13 inch pan.
  4. In bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and syrup.
  5. Beat until smooth.
  6. Pour into prepared pan.
  7. Bake 25-30 min or until top springs back when lightly touched.
  8. While cake layer is baking, combine all ingredients the mint layer calls for in a second bowl.
  9. Set aside.
  10. For Chocolate Topping: In saucpan over very low heat melt butter and chocolate chips.
  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Stir until smooth.
  13. Let topping cool slightly while cake bakes.
  14. Let cake layer cool completely in pan.
  15. Spread mint cream center on cake.
  16. Cover and chill.
  17. Pour chocolate topping over chilled dessert.
  18. Cover.
  19. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
