Camembert With Port and Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup port wine
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 8 oz round camembert cheese

Directions:

  1. In a measuring cup dissolve gelatin in water.
  2. Let stand 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan combine cranberries, sugar, wine, gelatin mixture and cinnamon stick.
  4. Bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in orange peel and cool ten minutes.
  6. Heat oven to 350 place cheese on ungreased cooking sheets.
  7. Bake for 15- 2 minutes and spoon cranberry mix over cheese.
