  1. Thaw potatoes 45 minutes before assembling.
  2. Combine potatoes with butter, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese in 13 X 9 X 2 baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  4. Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
  5. Serves 8-10.
