Ingredients:

  • 8 tbsp (1/2 cup) cocao powder (unsweetened )
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup sifted flour (about 100g)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Take an 8 x8 pan, butter it and dust it with cocoa powder.
  2. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder (if using) together.
  3. Melt the butter and mix in the cocoa powder.
  4. Beat the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
  5. Combine all together, spoon into pan.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Brownies are done when the top is no longer shiny. They are better a little underdone than overdone. You can top these with a chocolate butter cream frostig if you like. I like them plain. They are sweet, soft and delicious.
