Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 3/4 cups boiling water
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Sift together first 5 ingredients.
  2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla.
  3. Mix till smooth.
  4. Pour into ungreased 8x8x2 pan.
  5. Mix together brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
  6. Sprinkle over batter.
  7. Pour water over entire batter.
  8. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
