Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 -3 ripe bananas (2 if large)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and the salt together.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Mash bananas until there are no large chunks.
  4. Add eggs, mashed bananas, buttermilk to the butter and sugar mixture and mix together.
  5. Add to flour mixture alternately.
  6. When well blended, pour into a greased bread pan and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
