Baked Whipped Cheezy Potatoes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut the tips off of the garlic heads, place in baking dish ,drizzle olive oil about a tbsp over each head, cover dish with lid , bake in a 350 degree oven for about 1 hr. or until clves are soft when poked with a fork. remove from oven & let cool
  2. Wash ,peel ,& cut up potatoes, place into pot boil till ready to be mashed
  3. I mash potatoes with a hand masher first , then add butter, milk, sour cream & 1/2C, of the cheese,
  4. I then use a electric hand mixer to whip the potatoes & above ingredients together.
  5. Fold in the green onions
  6. Put whipped potatoes into a greased pyrex baking dish
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheddar over potatoes, cover & bake for 1/2 hr. 350
  8. Remove lid put oven on broil till cheese bubbles 2-3 min.
  9. Serve immediately
  10. Any leftovers, make a great start to my killer - cream of leek soup
