Applesauce Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups applesauce
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Cook applesauce, raisins and brown sugar slowly for 20 minutes.
  2. Add butter and salt.
  3. Cool.
  4. Beat eggs and add to mixture.
  5. Pour into pie shell.
  6. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
  7. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and softened butter with a pastry blender.
  8. Sprinkle on top.
  9. Continue to bake another 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Cool before serving.
