Apple Pancakes With Apple Pecan Syrup

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix and sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and sugar then sift again.
  2. Combine egg, milk, butter and apples and add gradually to flour mixture.
  3. Stir only until dry ingredients are moistened then bake on hot greased griddle.
  4. To make syrup melt butter then add nuts and brown lightly then remove nuts and set aside.
  5. Add maple syrup, cinnamon and salt to butter in saucepan then add apples and cover.
  6. Simmer slowly for 10 minutes then remove cover and simmer 3 minutes longer.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in huts then serve over pancakes while warm.
