Apple Mince Walnut Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 cups mincemeat
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 9 inch pie crust

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt in bowl.
  2. Add apples, mix lightly.
  3. Add mincemeat and walnuts, mix.
  4. Heap into pastry lined 9-inch pie pan, dot with butter.
  5. Adjust top crust, flute edges, cut vents.
  6. Brush top crust with milk, sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake in 425 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until crust is browned and apples are tender.
  8. Cool on rack.
