Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 cup slivered almonds

Directions:

  1. In a heavy pot boil water, sugar and butter to 285 degrees or crack stage on a candy thermometer.
  2. Pour into rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, and spread when melted.
  4. Sprinkle on slivered or crushed almonds.
