Ingredients:

  • 2 tab. butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup minced onion
  • 2 tab chili sauce
  • 2 tab fresh lemon juice
  • dash of pepper
  • 50 medium. mushroom caps

Directions:

  1. This is all done in the microwave
  2. In a 1 quart glass casserole melt butter 30 seconds. Combine with bread crumbs and walnuts and cook 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Stirring halfway through cooking time. Add onion, chili sauce, salt, lemon juice and pepper and blend evenly.
  3. Stuff mushrooms using about 1 Tab. stuffing per cap.
  4. Arrange 10 to 12 mushrooms on a paper plate, cover with waxed paper and cook 8 to 10 mins. rotating dish 1/4 turn halfway through cooking time, most new microwaves have a self turn. Serve hot.
