Walnut Filling For Cookies Or Strudel Hungarian

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb of freshly ground walnuts (finely)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of boiled milk
  • 1/8 cup melted butter

Directions:

  1. Mix filling in bowl using only 1/4 cup of boiled milk, It should be thick.
  2. If not spreadable use the rest of milk.
  3. Use for filling Kipfils, Kalachki, or Cream cheese cookies.
  4. Can be stored in freezer. Keeps well.
