Thousand Island Dressing (Cooked)

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1/2 onion

Directions:

  1. Mix together in saucepan eggs, sugar, flour, dry mustard, water, vinegar,salt and butter. Cook until thick. Chop hard boiled eggs, green pepper, pimientos and onion. Add to cooked portion. Stir in chili sauce and whipping cream.
