Sour Cream Pear Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups peeled diced fresh pears (about 3 medium.)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine sugar,egg, flour, sour cream,vanilla and salt. fold in pears and pour into pie crust.
  3. Bake 25 minutes.
  4. While pie is baking prepare crumb topping by combining all ingredients until crumbly. after the 25 minutes. remove pie from oven and sprinkle crumb topping evenly over pie. return to oven and bake another 30 minutes. remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  5. Enjoy - leftover pie should be refrigerated.if there is any - at my house there has never been any left to put in the refrigerator - lol.
