Directions:

  1. In separate sauce pans start preparing beans and rice. Remove beans when they are about 3/4 done.(Rice can be added before or after boiling point. 1 packet of Sazon or Spanish seasoning can be added to rice)
  2. Sautee red and green peppers, onions, and garlic in olive oil. Add beans when when onions have softened and let sautee on low heat for a few minutes so the flavors can meld. When water has boiled down to level of rice, add ingredients from sautee pan. Add jalapeno peppers. Lower heat on rice, cover and let simmer until done. About 25 minutes.
