Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Bring first three ingredients to a boil.
  2. Mix cornstarch with enough water to make a smooth sauce and then stir into the hot raspberry mixture.
  3. Bring back to a boil.
  4. Mix together the knepp ingredients.
  5. Drop the dough by spoonfuls into the boiling raspberry mixture.
  6. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and let simmer for 20-minutes.
  7. Do not uncover during the simmering period.
  8. May be served with heavy cream or ice cream.
