Ingredients:

  • 2 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup shortening ( butter)
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 1/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together, adding nuts last, makes 2 loaves of pumpkin bread. 350 degrees for 1 hr
