Quicky Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1/2-1 cup oleo (melted )
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (15 1/4 oz) can sliced peaches (or any canned pie filling can be used, or berries if already cooked)

Directions:

  1. Melt oleo in a 9x13-inch cake pan.
  2. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. Stir in milk until moistened.
  4. Pour this mixture over the melted margarine in the baking pan.
  5. Gently spread fruit on top of batter.
  6. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
  7. SERVE HOT.
