Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy pot or kettle. Cook over low hear for approximately 1 hour, stirring frequently. When the mixture is very thick, yet still easily spreadable, spoon into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headroom. Top with sterilized lids and tighten bands. Place jars in a large kettle of boiling water, making sure there is 2 inches of water above the tops of the jars. Bring water back to a rolling boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove jars and place on a rack until cool. Makes approximately 6 pints.
