Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour , sifted
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Sift flour once.
  2. Measure, add baking powder, soda and salt.
  3. Sift again.
  4. Cream shortening add sugar.
  5. Gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
  6. Add pineapple and eggs one at a time.
  7. Beating well after each.
  8. Add a small amount of flour at a time.
  9. Beating after each addition until smooth.
  10. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheet.
  11. 10 minutes 400F degrees.
