Directions:

  1. Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add flour, salt, and egg yolks; mix well. Stir in milk and vanilla. Pour filling into pastry shell; sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300°, and bake an additional 35 minutes. Cool before slicing.
