Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Brownies with Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 - grease 9x13 pan
  2. Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer - when light and fluffy, add PB and beat until incorporated - beat in eggs, egg yolk and vanilla - by hand, stir in flour and chocolate chips
  3. Spread in pan
  4. Bake on center rack for 35-40 minutes - cool completely
  5. Ganache
  6. Put chocolate chips in heat-proof bowl
  7. In saucepan or microwave-safe measuring cup, heat cream until it starts to boil
  8. Pour cream over chips and let stand for a minute
  9. Stir well to melt chips, stir in butter
  10. Spread over cooled brownies and let set
