Nice Spiced Iced Apple Drops

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped apple
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 5 tbsp apple cider

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Lightly grease two cookie sheets.
  3. In a bowl beat butter with electric mixer for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the sugars, spices and baking soda.
  5. Beat until combined.
  6. Beat in egg and apple juice.
  7. Beat as much flour as you can with the mixture.
  8. Stir in remaining Flour and apples and walnuts.
  9. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  11. Or until lightly browned.
  12. When cool spread with apple frosting.
  13. For frosting.
  14. In a bowl beat together powdered sugar, butter, apple juice, and vanilla.
