Ingredients:

  • 1 quart canned okra
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper , to taste
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Boil okra; strain off water and mash.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, beat in eggs, baking powder, and enough flour to make a stiff batter.
  3. Drop a couple of tablespoonful at a time in deep fat fryer and fry till done.
  4. Appox.
  5. Two minutes.
