Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. In a bowl, toss matzo pieces with almonds
  4. In a saucepan, bring butter, sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons water to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly
  5. Working quickly, drizzle matzo mixture with syrup, and toss
  6. Using a heatproof spatula, spread mixture onto prepared sheet
  7. Bake until golden, about 30 minutes
  8. Remove from oven; sprinkle with chocolate chips
  9. Let chocolate melt 5 minutes then spread over matzo toffee
  10. Refrigerate until chocolate has set
  11. Break into pieces and serve
  12. Store in fridge in an airtight container for up to five days
