Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix applesauce, sugar, whole eggs, egg whites and vanilla in a large bowl. In a seperate bowl mix togeather whole wheat flour, cocoa powder and salt. Add the flour mixture to the applesauce mixture and stir well to combine. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 27-37 minutes or until the middle is set. Let cool.
  2. For the frosting- combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Spread on cooled brownies.
