Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Directions:

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients together.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Bake in a greased pan in a moderate oven for about 1 hour.
