Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Put butter and milk in a pan and melt on stove. Beat eggs until light; add sugar and beat until thick. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well; add hot milk mixture and stir until smooth. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees in a tube pan (45-60 minutes) or 8 or 9 inch round pans (20-25 minutes).
