Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 3/4 cup butter ( tastes better) or 3/4 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream together Brown Sugar and Butter.
  3. Slowly add the Honey, then the egg and mix well.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Make sure the batter is mixed well then form balls and dip in white sugar and place on greased cookie sheet sugar side up.
  6. Bake for 7 minutes (cooking time may vary).
  7. Let cool or eat warm.
