Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour , sifted
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Sift all dry ingredients together (flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg).
  3. Cream the butter and vanilla in a large bowl, gradually adding sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Beat in dry ingredients.
  6. Add bananas and butttermilk.
  7. Bake in 9x9 pan for 35 - 45 minutes.
