Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In one bowl combine the flour, salt and baking powder. In a separate bowl blend together the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in the milk. Add in the dry ingredients. Put in a greased and floured loaf pan.
  2. Cook in 350 oven for about 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
