Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, pressing gently. Add water in small quantities until you can gather everything together and the mixture becomes a dough. It should be soft but not sticky. Kneed for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide dough into 10 portions and roll them between the palms of your hands into balls. Gently press them down to slightly flatten them.
  3. Dust each portion with whole wheat flour and roll into circles with a rolling pin. If they stick, dust with more flour.
  4. Heat an iron skillet or non-stick pan. Place each rolled circle onto the skillet, cook for a minute until there are tiny brown spots on the underside, then flip it over and repeat on the other side.
  5. Spray or drizzle a little oil on each side and cook the bread while gently pressing down until the bread becomes slightly crisp and dark.
  6. Wrap the rotis in a towel and store them in air tight containers.
